The Studio

An exterior studio with an engineering spine.

Westmere Exteriors is a Columbus exterior contracting studio built around one conviction: the parts of a home that face the weather deserve the same rigor as the parts you photograph.

Most exterior work fails quietly — a siding course that traps water, a window set without back dam or air seal, a roof vented by guesswork. None of it shows on day one. All of it shows by year ten. So we work from paper first: a written scope that names the materials, the flashing details, and the tolerances a crew will be held to.

The look we reach for is calm — straight courses, tight reveals, proportionate trim. The engineering underneath is what keeps it looking that way: moisture management behind the cladding, thermal performance at the openings, ventilation and drainage across the roof.

We keep the studio deliberately focused: windows, doors, siding, roofing, and gutters, for Columbus and its first-ring and growth suburbs. One building envelope, five systems, specified and installed as a whole.

How We Work

  1. Consultation

We walk the home, listen, and document existing conditions.

  2. Specification & Design

You receive a written scope: materials, details, and finish selections.

  3. Precision Installation

A dedicated crew executes the specification, detail by detail.

  4. Completion & Care

We walk the finished work with you and document what was installed.

Next Step

Put it on paper.

A consultation ends with a written specification — what we found, what we recommend, and exactly how it will be installed.
